Top 3 Best Large Booth Experience: I look at cohesiveness of the brand from the design of the booth to the images used to represent the brand, the trained sales people to customer experience within the booth. When I go into a booth, it should be pretty easy for me to understand the story of the brand and feel the culture of the brand. The experience within the booth should make me want to be a part of the brand and wear the brand. Make sense?

At the Dolce Vita booth, we love the décor, the chocolate skulls and the "come into my home"
type of experience when you walk into the booth. Very warm and inviting. It was as if I was getting
a tour of someone's home, where each room I can try on shoes or bags.

Top 3 Best Smaller Booth (<400sqft) Experience:
Since 1999 I don't think Steve Madden's booth has changed much. Other than space size, it has definitely stayed true to the brand, simple and all about the shoes. Steve is still making good shoes at affordable prices 26 yrs later and rumored to have a net worth of $120 Million.

Congratulations!!! VANS celebrating their 50 Years Anniversary.

K.I.T.T., Minority Report & iRobot is Closer Than You Think

The International CES (Consumer Electronics Show®) is the world’s gathering place for all who thrive on the business of consumer technologies. It's where business gets done: on the show floor, in and around its conference program, in impromptu connections and in planned meetings and special events. (Photo: See Tylt for more info.)

From smart houses to wearable technology to wellness tracking to drones, autonomous automobiles, artificial intelligence and pet tech, where shall I begin?  CES 2016 was not to disappoint at all.  So much to see, so much to touch and so much to play with.  According to Inverse.com CES 2016 attracted over 176,000 people. The trade show floor opened on Wednesday January 6th and ended on Saturday January 9th.  It seems that 4 days were not enough to see everything.  I was certainly overwhelmed on Day 1. Per inverse.com  3,631 companies, including 82 percent of the Fortune 100 exhibited at CES.  It took up North, Central and South Halls of the Las Vegas Convention Center, all of the Sands Expo and Westgate Hotel Conference Center.

The Giants:
INTEL - makers of processors, tablets, wearable tech. Intel designs and builds the essential technologies that serve as the foundation for the world's computing devices.

Samsung manufactures TVs, digital cameras, DVDs, VCRs and audio systems.

Southern Telecom provides long-haul and metro dark fiber connecting Atlanta with other smaller cities throughout the Southeast.

SONY manufactures electronics, PlayStation, movies, music and TV shows.

I am very excited to have received my 2nd press badge for TradeshowLife and will continue to do my best to write about the latest and greatest after every show that I attend.  I wish I could share with you everything I saw at CES, but it would be pages and pages.  I'm going to highlight the Entrepreneurs I met at the show and some of the coolest things I've ever seen! So make sure you click on the live links for detailed information of product.

Wearable Technology:

A must have!!

Air Serenity powered by AirSix is a great companion to have while you travel. Comes optional with air quality tracker or just the headset.

At CES 2016, Under Armour revealed a new band, heart-rate monitor, and smart scale. The apparel and footwear maker also announced a new smart shoe and a pair of wireless headphones. All of these products will be tied to an updated UA Record app, which is available on iPhone and Android devices.

Cool Products:

Iris by Lowe's, a smarter way to live. Iris is a simple, customizable smart home system by Lowe's. Iris streamlines home management and puts power at your fingertips by connecting your Iris compatible smart devices through a single app. There, you can control and monitor each of them.

Formlab is the most advanced desktop 3D printer ever created.
Watch how it prints a 3D configuration.

Royole-X is the world's first foldable smart mobile theater. I had a chance to test this product, and loved it! Everything was so crisp and clear.  A must have.  Currently on sale on their website but will be available on Amazon soon for about $799.

Since 1999, Segway has specialized in personal transporters.  They have partnered with Intel and Ninebot, and launched the hands free personal transporters for consumers at CES 2016.  I'm told it will be available February 20th on Amazon for $1299.

Headquartered in Shenzhen, widely considered China’s Silicon Valley, DJI benefits from direct access to the suppliers, raw materials, and young, creative talent pool necessary for sustained success. DJI has grown from a single small office in 2006 to a global workforce of over 3,000. DJI products are redefining industries. Professionals in filmmaking, agriculture, conservation, search and rescue, energy infrastructure, and more trust DJI to bring new perspectives to their work and help them accomplish feats safer, faster, and with greater efficiency than ever before.

Toyota to Announce New Details of Artificial Intelligence Research at Consumer Electronics Show. Their simulation of artificial intelligent toy size automobiles was definitely an eye opener. I'm looking forward to traveling long distance in my smart car and falling asleep at the wheel, soon!

Corning launched a retail "gorilla glass" case at CES, combining display and online shopping
at store level.  "For CES 2016, we are demonstrating how the innovations and advancements Corning has made over the past five years are enabling us to actually build what we envisioned in 'A Day Made of Glass.'" - Jeff Evenson, Senior Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer.  If you remember the movie "Minority Report" with Tom Cruise, this case definitely reminds me of that movie.

808 Audio, makers of wireless speakers, earbuds, headphones featured a DJ and a do-it-yourself graphic vinyl give away. Very cool art!  808 is a part of Voxx Int'l, a leader of consumer electronics manufacturer and licensee.

3Ders, makers of 3D printers & technology
showing off their 3D printed robot.

Appcessory Pte Ltd, the brand owner of ‘gosh!’, debuts a full range of new products, including Smart Pet Solutions: Ball Launcher, Paw Washer & Feeder.

Left:  Bosch displayed what is to be the interior of an autonomous car looks like. Are you ready for this?  With so many cameras and sensors on the car, I'm ready for my automated self-driving car.
Right:  Mercedes Benz concept "Intelligent Aerodynamic Automobile". This vehicle will alter itself once it reaches the speed of 80KM/Hr for better overall performance. Amazing.

Left:  For all you tennis lover, Sony has the thing for you, Smart Tennis Sensor. Plug it in to the end of your racket holder, and it will track how you hit the ball and train you on how to hold your racket to up your game. Add the app on your phone and you're all set. I must get me one, available for $199 online. While you play tennis, put on the Fitness Tracker headset.  It will play type of music based on your heart rate. Add the app to see your measured data from distance, stride to calories.
Right:  I'm loving the universal "e-paper" remote control that Sony launched at CES. It is currently still in prototype, but talking to the Sony CES staff member, it could be available to us within the next 3-6 months.  It is so lightweight, and an energy saver.  I'm told you only need to charge it 6-7x per year through your computer USB plug.

HIGHLIGHT ON ENTREPRENEURS:

1. Wonderwoof  is a connected accessory for your dog that monitors their activity in real time, helps improve their health, and allows you to meet other dog-lovers in your area. I had the chance to speak to Betsy Fore, CEO of Wonderwoof, such a sweet, sincere and fun person. She is definitely an animal lover, and has turned a passion into a career, but don't be fooled, this CEO comes from an extensive toy background and has lived in Tokyo and London, where this product was birthed. She was also named Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2015. Betsy launched Wonderwoof at CES 2015, and this time she launched Wondermeow, just for the kitties.  Wonderwoof is available at Harrods London and online.  I'm excited to see what she will launch next year at CES 2017.

Watch the app play on the screen behind Betsy as she is speaking to an attendee about women being 80% of her buyers.
When asked what inspired Betsy to start Wonderwoof, it was due to the fact that her pup was overweight, and she was not successful in getting her pup to lose weight.  She created Wonderwoof, and within months her pup lost weight. She was able to extend 2 years to the life of her pup. How amazing is that?  All you need is the $95 bow tie and the app, that's it, no additional costs!  Here she is pictured with the app and the bow tie explaining how easy it is to use the app. All you animal lovers out there, you must get one!

2.  Cinemood is the maker of portable projector for kids. Watch your favorite movies, cartoons and TV shows anywhere you want on the big screen. Perfect for home, outdoor movie nights, celebrations and more. Watch my interview with CEO, Mikhail B, he is pictured below with company's CMO, Dasha.

3.  Lovehandle.  You know when you see a product, and you say, "why didn't I think of that?", well this is one of those products.  I love my "love handle", and I have it on both of my iPhones and iPad. So simple, and yet so clever.  Congrats to Michael Watts on the success of his product. It is currently available online, on eBay and soon to be every store near you!  Watch my interview with CEO, Michael and here he is pictured with his #1 Sales Extraordinaire David.

4.  Klaxoon facilitates interactivity within a group. Based on your content, you can propose simple, playful and effective activities: quizzes, surveys, challenges, brainstorming activities, live messaging. Best thing since power point, in my opinion.  Great tool for schools, sales meetings, any meetings.
Watch my interview with Matthew Beucher, CEO of Klaxoon. Product is currently available online starting at $99 per unit.

5.  Iblazr from Concepter,is better flash for your smartphone.Below is Vlad Tislenko, CEO/Founder of Concepter, and on the right is Sasha, PR/Marketing, standing with award for Best of CES Finalist. The original flash plugs into your phone, where iblazr2 is a wireless bluetooth flash. Clever isn't it? iBlazr is currently available at Apple, Best Buy and Walmart.  Who wouldn't want those retailers?

That's all for now.  I hope you enjoyed my report.  Please don't forget to subscribe and tell your friends about us.  If you need any assistance with your trade show planning, please message me!

Jet Life

Mente Group claimed that they can save you $1 Million. Ever seen
one million $1 bills?  Security guarding this stack of bills at the
NBAA2015 Expo in Las Vegas last month.

Founded in 1947 and based in Washington, DC, the National Business Aviation Association (NBAA) is the leading organization for companies that rely on general aviation aircraft to help make their businesses more efficient, productive and successful. The Association represents more than 10,000 companies and provides more than 100 products and services to the business aviation community, including the NBAA Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition, the world's largest civil aviation trade show.

them at One Aviation.

Don't you love flying private?

IT ALL STARTED WITH A YELLOW AIRPLANE

When Mr. Piper introduced the Piper Cub in 1937, he had a dream. He felt that everyone should fly. And he believed that Piper could provide everyone with that freedom. 130,000 aircraft later, that dream lives on. Today, Piper Aircraft is the only general aviation manufacturer to offer a complete line of aircraft. From rugged, reliable trainers to a high-performance turboprop, from student pilot to experienced aviator Piper creates the freedom of flight for everyone.

I had a great time checking out all the jets on display.  Some are available for purchase now, and some are still concepts.  Price range per plane, $5 Million - $100 Million+. Some of the ones that stood out the most were from Embraer, Lufthansa Group, Airbus and Falcon Aviation.  Simply beautiful.

If you have never attended NBAA before, I highly suggest you go at least once.  Pilots, flight attendants, aviation students, engineers and fans of the industry would definitely appreciate seeing the biggest aviation companies displaying their air crafts. It's hard not to be awed by these beautiful machines.

Pilatus Aircraft's exhibit at NBAA 2015 in Vegas.

I wasn't sure what this was, but I had to take a picture of it.
It doesn't matter what industry you're in, when you're on the trade show
floor, it's about attracting buyers and attendees to your space.
Obviously it worked for World Fuel, their exhibit stayed busy with people.
